On valentine’s day, February 14th, singer, actress and reality
television judge, Kelly Rowland had a chat on the very popular morning
radio show in Lagos- Top Of The Morning With Tosyn Bucknor. It was a
quick fifteen minute conversation in which the former Destinys’ Child
singer spoke with Tosyn about her must-have fashion accessory, her
biggest fear, what X Factor finalists, Jeff Gut and Lillie Mccloud are
up to recently, how she intended to spend her valentine’s day, plus,
some advice for girls who may want to know if the partner they are
currently with, was ‘the one’.
The highlight of the conversation which got everyone, including
Kelly, laughing was when Tosyn Bucknor a radio and television host on
Top Radio 90.9 taught Kelly Rowland how to say “I am happy” in Yoruba,
one of the languages spoken in Nigeria. Kelly got it right first try but
immediately wanted to know what it meant. When Tosyn told her, she
repeated it excitedly.
Kelly Rowland was in Nigeria for the #LLAM2 (Love Like A Movie 2)
concert, the second installment of the popular concert series by Darey
and Livespot Productions. Kelly Rowland would later go on to perform
songs like ‘Gone’ her song featuring Wiz Khalifa, ‘When love takes over’
her collaboration with David Guetta, ‘Motivation’ as well as a medley
from the Destiny’s Child collection.
Watch this video to find out what Kelly’s must have fashion accessory
is, advice she has for ladies who want to know if the person they are
with is ‘the one’, and what her plans are for the rest of the year. And
don’t forget- “inu mi dun!”
