Battered and bruised, football legend Ossie Ardiles lies in his hospital bed after suffering a serious head injury in a car crash on the Falkland Islands.

These exclusive photos shows the stricken former Tottenham and Argentina star with his head bandaged hours after the accident, which occurred when he swerved his rented Toyota 4×4 to avoid a sheep.

Ardiles, 61, was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital in the capital Stanley by an RAF Sea King helicopter and required 20 stitches in his head.

He was on the islands with his former Spurs and Argentina team mate Ricky Villa to film a documentary for ESPN about the impact the 1982 Falklands conflict had on their football careers.

Villa and the other five passengers – which included Ardiles’ British-born son Federico – were also taken to hospital.

Four were released after treatment for minor injuries but Ardiles and soundman Carlos Marcellan, who suffered a neck injury, were kept in overnight.

Ardiles is now understood to be flying back to Buenos Aires in Argentina along with his cameraman.

Ardiles said: “Thank you to everyone for your concern.

“I am fine and doing well.”

Spurs said in a statement: “All at the club wish Ossie and Ricky speedy recoveries.”

He joined Tottenham after the 1978 World Cup but was forced to go on loan to Paris Saint-Germain in 1982 after the Falklands conflict.

He returned to Spurs in 1983, playing for the club until 1988.

Justin Bieber scoffed at Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies who raided his home when they asked for the password to his cell phone … and now they may have to get ANOTHER search warrant.

Law enforcement sources tell us … during the raid on Bieber’s home, a member of the Sheriff’s Department asked the singer if they could take a look at the texts … to see if he bragged about the egging of his neighbor’s home.  We’re told he immediately shut them down.

Now get this … It’s been a week since the search and the Sheriff’s Department has NOT cracked the code.  One law enforcement official tells us … they have no interest in looking at Bieber’s unrelated photos or texts.  They have some sort of machine that can isolate the time frame around the egging so that the only texts that come up are from that period.

Our sources say the Sheriff’s officials now think they may have to get another search warrant — this time from Bieber’s phone carrier — to get the elusive texts.

Or, they should just call the NSA.

Kanye West 18-years-old Alleged Battery Victim Wants Cash for Settlement

The 18-year-old who Kanye West allegedly beat up last week in a chiropractor’s waiting room has approached the rapper, asking for a ton of money to settle the case without criminal prosecution … It was learned.

Sources connected with the 18-year-old tell us … his lawyer called Kanye’s people and expressed the desire to strike a civil settlement — FOR A PRICE — several hundred thousand dollars.

We’re told the 18-year-old is adamant — he does NOT want to go through a public trial.  As we reported … Kim Kardashian claims the young man was hurling racial epithets, calling her a “n***er lover” among other things.  We’re also told he has not been responsive with the police since the incident.

As for the $$$ … although eyewitnesses in the Beverly Hills chiropractor’s office say Kanye pummeled the guy … we’re hearing he has no apparent injuries.  Nonetheless, avoiding a criminal trial has a price.
It was gathered that both sides are currently in negotiations

According to reports, the 33-year-old almost caused multiple car accidents on Tuesday as she arrived to Stephane Rolland’s Womenswear Spring/Summer 2014-2015 Fashion show during Paris Fashion Week. And per the usual, photographers were reportedly being extremely aggressive, pushing each other out of the way to get a clear shot of the new mom as she made her way into the Palais de Chaillot.

Once the reality TV beauty made her way inside, the star sat front row alongside French-Moroccan singer, Sofia Essaidi. Kardashian, who arrived to the show without her fiance Kanye West, stunned in a white cashmere couture coat and satin grey pants by Rolland herself.
