Fake Soldier Palaver: He exposed Angela to the military authorities because she insisted on recovering the N300,000 she gave to him for their wedding

Do you remember the story of a man that exposed her girlfriend to the authority as a fake soldier?
Collins Jegede exposed his girlfriend Angela Omieh,because according to him, they just met and he discovered she was a fake soldier .Now, it has been revealed that he had ulterior motives .
Her inlaw Anthony Nworgu,claims as much as her act was wrong, the man wasn’t innocent and only exposed her because she insisted on recovering the N300,000 she gave to him for their aborted wedding.
The businessman, who is married to one of Omieh’s sisters told Punch…
“I don’t support what Angela (Omieh) did because her action was evil; why should she pose as a soldier when she is not one. But at the same time, the whole world should know that Jegede planned to marry a fake soldier and had even fixed February 28 for the wedding before he changed his mind when his old girlfriend showed up.He exposed Angela to the military authorities because she insisted on recovering the N300,000 she gave to him for their wedding.
What was his intention in planning to marry a fake soldier? Angela also claimed that she bought the uniform from Army depot in Zaria, I expect the authorities to investigate and arrest those selling the uniforms; the case should not just stop at parading Angela.”
When contacted, Jegede who claimed to be in church said..
“I don’t know what you are talking about; it is a blatant lie. Please I am in church now, I can’t say more than that,”
Angela claimed she faked her identity to give her easier access to travel to Cotunu for business without being harassed .Sets of military uniform, police extract and a sworn affidavit for loss of her military identity card were said to have been found with her.

More World Leaders Interviewed by Zuriel Oduwole

How does one make the case for the education of Africa’s but more importantly, the Nigerian Girl Child today – except to show the result of what such a step can do in a girls life. In this day and age when the world’s attention is focused on more than 200 girls kidnapped from Northern Nigeria while getting an education, the best way to convince those who oppose their education in the first place, is to show a Girl, who because she is educated and is still being educated, is taking on the world – literarily.
11 year old Zuriel Oduwole, who has now interviewed and met 1 in 6 of Africa 54 Presidents and Prime Ministers, former Presidents like Jerry Rawlings of Ghana, business leaders like Aliko Dangote, and global civil rights icon Jesse Jackson, has now added 2 more world leaders to her very impressive list.
The Prime Minister of St Vincent & Grenadines + Prime Minister of St Kitts & Nevis
She has now met with the Prime Minister of the Caribbean country of St Vincent & The Grenadines – H.E. The Honorable Ralph Gonsalves, as well as the Prime Minister of the Caribbean country of St Kitts & Nevis, H.E. The Right Honorable Dr. Denzil Douglas. A few months ago, she met with and interviewed the only female Prime Minister in the Caribbean region; H.E. The Most Honorable Portia Simpson Miller of Jamaica.
Aside of the issues of Girls Education in their countries, other subjects she talked about with these leaders include their relationship with the African continent, and how their economies are developing in the technology and digital age.
Zuriel Oduwole’s goals are to inspire the African Girl Child now through her Dream Up, Speak Up, Stand Up program and become a Robotics Engineer, but when she becomes older, she would like to become President herself.
Without education, these goals would be a very, very daunting journey. Were the Chibok school girls so wrong to get an education? Were they so wrong to have dreams?

He has also directed all relevant agencies to mobilize support and relief efforts in aid of the victims. The President extends his heartfelt sympathies to the affected families and persons.

He reaffirms Nigeria’s commitment to the implementation of the resolutions reached by the Summit, in addition to existing measures already being taken by the administration to combat terrorism and ensure the safety of lives.
President Jonathan states that the Federal Government of Nigeria is prepared to strengthen existing mechanisms to ensure the immediate implementation of the resolutions of The Summit, among which are:
i. That every necessary measure should be taken to find the school girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorists from Government Girls’ Secondary School, Chibok, Borno State on 14th April 2014;
ii. That Nigeria and other countries in the sub-region will continue to co-operate and co-ordinate efforts to combat the Boko Haram menace.
iii. That the Heads of State have agreed that each country will contribute one battalion of troops to the international force set up to patrol the border areas, in line with the Resolution of the Lake Chad Basin Commission. France, United States of America and the United Kingdom will extend technical assistance to achieve this objective;
iv. That the countries will come together to put in place an effective border management regime;
v. That no effort will be spared to stop the proliferation of small arms and light weapons and the supply of arms and equipment made available to terrorists.
President Jonathan considers these measures very useful aspects of the concerted international effort to combat terrorism and put an end to the Boko Haram menace. In addition, the President, in Abuja, today, directed relevant government agencies to ensure enhanced implementation of the following programmes in the areas affected by Boko Haram atrocities:
(i) Emergency relief assistance: The intensification of on-going relief assistance programmes by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA)) in partnership with donor agencies. The programme will ensure rapid deployment of relief assistance to the affected local government areas and communities. This will include provision of food supplies, medical supplies, basic relief commodities, and conditional cash transfer programmes for affected households;
(ii) Rapid needs assessment: To support additional intervention programmes in the region, the President has also directed that on-going rapid needs assessment by government agencies should be accelerated to identify affected communities and households and assess the extent of damage to public and private infrastructure, amongst others.
(iii) Safety of schools: President Jonathan has also reiterated Nigeria’s determination to ensure the safety and security of schools in Borno and other parts of the country and also provide counselling services to any affected students to enable them return to school and continue with their academic work.
Furthermore, the Federal Government of Nigeria will rebuild the Chibok School and fortify security in schools. In collaboration with the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Education, former British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the private sector, the government will launch the “Safe Schools Initiative” which will address security issues; re-build the destroyed schools; and provide equipment and materials.”
