Sexual Harassment Is Rampant In Nollywood

Many big actresses who have made it already are claiming that there are no cases of séxual harassment in movie industry, at least to cover themselves so people wont say they also did it, but some young ones who are not so desperate are trying to expose the mess and probably stop it.
One of such actress is Banke Adewunmi. She said séxual harassment is very real in Nollywood:
“There’s sexual harassment in the Industry. It’s not easy making it without being séxually harassed. Some people think its like trade by barter. It’s real. There should be a level playing ground for all without attaching any dirty conditions. People should be allowed to showcase their God-given talents without any hindrance.”
IMO: Its so pathetic because its not making it easy or even possible for us to spot the real talents in the entertainment industry.
The so called Producers and Marketers will rather give the role to whoever is ready to be their bedmate……..
This really has to stop and its not a battle of just these innocent and talented actors, we have to join them in fishing out all those bad apples denying us a Julia Roberts like or another Genevieve, Omotola, Kate Henshaw and co.
If you have any sexual harassment experience and you’re willing to share, please email me at yusuffoluwagbamila@gmail.com

I fully understand the effect I have on men says Cameroonian Sexy Model/Actress

an exclusive interview with one of the biggest producer, model and actress in the Uk, where she let us in on personal goals is driving her to the top…
Tell us about yourself?
My name is Brunhilda njua (AKA Brun Njua) from Cameroon, a Model, Actress and Producer.
What motivates you?
Life is a wonderful thing. Seeing the Sunrise each day makes me realise The Good Lord has made it possible for me to see anther day. That is enough motivation.
How do you evaluate success?
Success to a great extent is personal. Doing what makes you happy is success in my eyes. You set your personal goals. It may not be up to the standards of persons around you or be beyond theirs.
What has been the greatest disappointment in your life?
“Disappointment” is relative. Anything that happens I take in my stride. I believe everything happens for a reason.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about the creative industry. That is why I enjoy being a producer. Acting is also something I am very passionate about.
What do people most often criticize about you?
Funny enough my looks. They tend to believe it is strictly my looks that I rely on. They forget I manage artists, organize shows and produce movies. I have been behind the show-biz scene here in the UK for over 10 years.
Whats your best Automobile and your dream Car?: Love convertibles …An Aston Martin will be nice.
How do you deal with Male fans?
LMao – I fully understand the effect I have on men and women. I did not set out to be a model or the object of persons desires, but it happened. I am very professional and try to avoid weirdo’s like a plague.
What part of your body will you change if you have the chance? what part of your body do you like the most?
I have to admit I am not self-conscious when it comes to my body. I understand I have to maintain my public persona, but in terms of change, I will rather improve the balance of my bank account.
What will you never wear or use?
Seriously, I never say “Never”. I can always do or wear something once. I’m very adventurous.
Message to your fans?
Thanks for your support. It means a lot.

I Quit Acting Because of Sexual Harassment says Actress/Singer Miss Independent

Not too long ago, a film director said there was nothing wrong in producers and directors sleeping with actresses on movie sets.
This he stated claiming if the affair is mutually agreed, no man should be prosecuted for such.
But the resolve of Cross River state-born sexy actress-cum-singer, Ine Aju, aka Miss Independent, to change the face of hip-hop music in Nigeria seems to be looking good. With the release of her hit single, ‘No forming’, which is gradually becoming every DJ’s favourite, Miss Independent certainly has an ace to play.
Speaking on the single and why she has decided to go more for music than acting, the graduate of Benue State University said, “Music has always been what I had in mind while growing up. My new track, ‘No Forming’, is a very interesting dance hall music which talks about how I pay my bills.
“I chose the title because it explains my kind of person. I do not ‘form’; I do my things in my own way. I quit acting for music because I was not getting the kind of roles I wanted and also the constant sexual abuses from producers. I still have plans to go back to acting in a bigger way. My fans should expect more singles and nice videos from me.”

“I guess my name gives gossips orgasm”says Halima Abubakar

In a new interview with Yes Magazine, this is what Halima said when told people see her as controversial
“I’m not controversial. Why? People talk and the press write. Guess my name gives them (gossips) orgasm. I’m a simple home couch-loving lady. I love my bed, my comfort; whether there is spring or mat, I’m great at home. I don’t party. I feel like I don’t have fun and still not having fun, because I’m too serious and have been working since I was 13 years. But, it’s okay. I’m here making my own rules and making sure I follow them. I love meriting stuff, so I don’t cut corners. Hard work is better. You can sleep your way through, but it never lasts. I knew that from day one. When people reject me, I don’t worry because they are the ones missing and losing, not knowing how amazing I am. People love judging and as long as people love hearing hear says, then they add lies to sweeten the gist. So, how am I controversial? I’m always misunderstood by lots of people. Just because I don’t talk too much does not mean I’m unfriendly or arrogant. I’m just a calm-natured person. Not giving to stress. People have made me calm because of their constant gossips. I’m now like “Django”. I laugh and move on. I know that people still fight for me behind. So, God bless you all for the love.”

I’ll Marry The Man Who Can Forgive Me – Actress Genevieve Nnaji

“As for marriage, it’s every woman’s dream to get married. We can’t lie to ourselves. I do want to get married but overtime I have had opportunities to get married but I realize getting married is not actually the problem. The problem is finding someone you are compatible with because…
“I’m born Catholic, I’m raised Catholic, I don’t believe in divorce. If I get married, I really want to stay married and staying married is not an easy thing. It means you are completely in tune with your partner. It means you’ve found your soul mate because you’ll have to be able to stand a lot of disappointments that would definitely come but then again you have to learn to forgive.
“For me, before I choose a partner I have to ask myself if this is the kind of person I would be willing to forgive no matter what when the time comes. If the answer is no, then that person is wrong for me. That person is not the person you want to get married to. If you know you can look into someone’s eyes and say yes, this is the most you can do to me. If you actually cheat on me the first time, I can find it in my heart to forgive you. If you can answer that question honestly and truthfully to yourself then you’ll know if that person is your partner or not.
“So compatibility is the word aside from the physical attributes that have to go with it. I need to be comfortable because I’m a woman and I’m used to a certain lifestyle.”

I Am Making Impact In The Society Says Cossy Orjiakor Boasts

Controversial Nollywood actress cum musician, Cossy Orjiakor, might want to prove her critics wrong as she hopes to settle down someday. The actress, in a recent chat with Nigeriafilms, though accepted that she is a bad girl, expressed her mind that she is not a p*rn star as some believe, and as such, people should just be mindful of the way they accuse her wrongly.
People see Cossy as a bad girl, can we truly get to know who this damsel is?
Yeah I am bad…..(bold and different). I watched movies a lot when I was young.
Why did you go into acting over other professions?
[Some big stars] were were the only visible role models then, that’s why I went into acting.
How many movies have you featured in?
I can’t really figure out the number of movies I have done so far.
Some people don’t appreciate tattoo, what does tattoo mean to you and why do you have it?
I had my first tattoo cut just because I wanted to know what it felt like [having one]. But I made sure I had them where I could cover them up [from people].
What does controversy mean to you?
Controversies means being different and [I am] loving it.
It’s like you hate men because you don’t like talking about them, why?
I love men and that’s why I don’t talk about them. Most men don’t like to be talked about?
At what age do you intend to settle down and how many kids do you intend to have?
I will settle down when it’s the right time. God’s time is the best. I love children. I will have mine and adopt as well.
What’s your relationship with Afrocandy and Maheeda?
I can’t really talk about people I have not met before.
Some schools of thought see you as a p*rn star, can you act n*de in a movie?
It depends, if there is a p*rn movie starring me, then I am a porn star. If there is none, then the people in that school of thought should go back to school
Someday, you will get married, will you still continue with this way of life?
When I am married, I may have a different school of thought because marriage is an institution you never graduate from.
What impact do you want make in the society?
I am making an impact in the society right now. Because if am not, I doubt if you will want an interview.
How would you rate the Nigerian entertainment industry and what are the challenges confronting it?
We are doing good.
What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion to me means being comfortable in whatever you are wearing and also expressing yourself in what ever way you choose to.
Who is your favourite designer and why?
I have a lot of designer cloths, shoes and bags. i love all of them. I don’t have any favourite.
What’s your favourite perfume and make?
I love playing around with different perfumes. I always get lots of designer perfume.
You love going on high heels shoes, why?
I love high heels and also flats too. You can’t go to a ball on flats and you can’t go to the beach on heels. So every shoe have an occasion for it.

Is complains and blames for failure of our culture? – Nkiru Sylvanus

“#bring back our girls. We have all spoken, we are known for that, we have always been like this, as a child growing up, all I hear is complains and blames, why this is not working or why that isn’t working, it has always been good reasons why we failed! Now am beginning to ask, is that our way of life? Is complains and blames for failure our culture? This is a great nation! We can actually take responsibility for our actions, we can solve the problems we created! The kidnappers, armed robbers, terrorist, are someone’s brothers, close friends, husband, boy friend, lover! Father! So they are human they live among us. There can only be change when we agree. In a nation where government has failed us, we as individuals can bring the change and solution we seek and desire. It’s all about sacrifice, it’s all about our voices! It’s all about unity! Not an opportunity to be popular! Or an opportunity to be richer! I was once a victim! From my little experience I can imagine what those children are passing through! Pray that ur freedom is not taken by a friend! Not to talk about an enemy! This is not a time to cry or weep for this nation for we have wept for too long. it’s a time to act! A time to stand together! A time for solution! Like Obama will say! “Yes we can” and I Nkeiruka Sylvanus say! Now is the time not tomorrow!”
