Apparently in response to the Military released statement stating that he, Olusegun Obasanjo is an embarrassment to the force and various political interference of the Nigerian Military, the former president has described Nigerian Military as another arms of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP under the present administration of President Goodluck Jonathan.
The Military yesterday released a statement from the Defence Headquarters shortly after Obasanjo tore his Peoples Democratic Party membership card, describing the former president as an embarrassment to the military.
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on his tweeter page twitted that the it is shameful that the Defence Headquarters, DHQ has stopped to defend the country from security threat but has been reduced to defence institution of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Obasanjo further tweeted that President Jonathan has succeeded in politicizing every institution n the nation, the military inclusive.
