Don’t Be Afraid Of Jail, Aisha Buhari Tells Patience Jonathan
The
wife of the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress,
Hajia Aishat Buhari has advised Dame Patience Jonathan, that she needs
not fear jail, should her husband be voted President come 28 March, 2015
as Nigerians only want a change in the way the country is being
governed.
It
will be recalled that the first lady, has been campaigning that General
Buhari will jail his political opponents if elected President in the
March 28 election.
Mrs. Buhari spoke today at a mega rally in Benin, where she interacted with women in Edo State.
“Each
zone of the country has its peculiar problems. For me in this zone,
girl-child trafficking should be considered one of our problems, though I
know there is unemployment. Unemployment is the major factor that
contributes to brain drain and also the girl-child trafficking. General
Muhammadu Buhari is a leader who led Nigeria some decades ago and he is
coming back now to sanitise the system.
“For
those that are campaigning, saying that he is coming to jail Nigerians,
I don’t know what their fear is. But they shouldn’t be afraid, because
we are all yearning for change. The insecurity in the country, the very
poor healthcare system, lack of education and other basic necessities
that people are lacking I believe Nigerians need somebody like General
Muhammadu Buhari now.
“Already,
they have painted him black, using religion. I’m happy today that
Nigerians realise that they use religion as a cover to loot Nigeria. Any
politician who talks to you about religion is a liar, he only wants to
loot the treasury and the little resources you ought to enjoy. So say no
to politics merging it with religion to deceive the people.
“I’m
here today to let Edo women know that when my husband is elected into
office as President, all these will be history. The insecurity, the
girl-child trafficking, suffering of the widows in the South East will
come to an end. There must be a cultural design that can accommodate the
widow. A design that would make the girl-child comfortable wherever she
is in this country. She doesn’t have to leave her country to go and
prostitute elsewhere, it’s not her portion. Her portion is to have a
highly standard and moral society for her to live in. Get married, have
children, train them and also mould them to become the future leaders.
“We
are here today to also let you know that the collection of your PVCs is
important and don’t ever sell it. It’s like selling your future. If you
sell it for N5,000, you won’t see N5,000 again until after four years
which will be bad. Get your PVC, vote for APC, vote for freedom, vote
for a new Nigeria with good security, good education, good healthcare,
good roads and all the basic necessities,” she said.
Maybe Madam Peace hand no clean....lol

challenged, professionals, we all have a part to play.”
“Come February 2015, Lagosians will once again elect a governor that
will not only continue the great works of these fore-bearers, but will
also lead the people of Lagos to greater economic heights, prosperity,
accountable democracy, and more importantly, the protection of lives and
properties.”
“I stand before you today as a bridge between the elderly and the
youth. I hold before you a beacon that summons us all to building
together a more prosperous Lagos. I have the competence, experience and
determination to lead Lagos State to greater economic heights and
prosperity.”
“I ask for your support and your votes that will send me to Alausa to
continue in my tradition of selfless service to this great State of
ours.”

PDP Crumbles in Rivers State as Top Politicians, Amaechi, Ikuru, Register With APC
The leadership of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers has declared Peoples Democratic Party in thestate dead and buried following the registration on Monday of Governor Rotimi Amaechi as an APC member, thus permanently terminating his relationship with the opposition PDP.
Commenting on the development, APC interim Chairman, Dr. Davies Ibiamu Ikanya described the registration of Governor Amaechi and his Deputy, Engr. Tele Ikuku for APC as “the final nail of PDP in Rivers State,” adding: “I hereby declare PDP dead and buried in Rivers State and never to rise again. The journey now begins for the total liberation of Rivers State and the entire Nigeria from the strangulating grip of PDP. Chief Nyesom Wike, Brother Felix Obuah, Mr. Jerry Needam and few misguided elements still left in the sinking ship of PDP can now go ahead to start their mourning session”
Governor Amaechi and his wife, Dame Judith Amaechi, registered at about 11am in his native Ubima at Ward 8, Unit 14, in Ikwerre Local Government Area of the State.
They were accompanied to Ubima for the registration exercise by several political heavyweights in the state, among them the Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikuru, the APC interim State Chairman, Dr. Ikanya, Hon. Igo Igoma (former member, House of Representatives), and Dr. Sam Jaja, former Deputy National Chairman of PDP – all of whom have already registered as APC members.
Governor Amaechi’s registration was preceded on Monday by that of the Deputy Governor, his wife, Dr. Mina Ikuru, and Dr. Ikanya himself, amongst others, who formally registered for APC at Ikuru Town in Ward 5, Andoni Local Government Area of the State.
Rivers State APC Interim Chairman described Engr. Tele Ikuru’s registration as very significant considering Ikuru’s relationship with PDP’s Deputy National Chairman, Chief Uche Secondus. According to him, “The Deputy Governor being the cousin of the Deputy National Chairman, his registration as an APC member is a powerful signal to the PDP that its days in our dear State are gone for good.”
Dr. Ikanya eulogized Engr. Ikuru, saying that “this epochal step taken by him, apart from exposing him as a true gentleman also shows him to be a loyal party man whose commitment and dedication to Governor Amaechi is a study in humility and forthrightness and should be emulated by all and sundry.” He added that with Ikuru in APC, Governor Amaechi can now go to sleep as he will bring to bear his winning streak that will formally bury PDP both in Andoni and Rivers State at large.
Dr Ikanya also commended and congratulated Rt Hon Amachree D. Otelemaba the Speaker of Rivers State House of Assembly, Distinguished Senator Magnus Abe Chairman Senate Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), Distinguished Senator Wilson Ake, Hon. Chief Andrew Uchendu, The Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Petroleum Resources (Downstream), Dakuku Peterside, Hon. Dr. George Dawari, Hon. Ogbona Nwuke, Mr. George Feyi, Secretary to Rivers State Government (SSG) amongst other greats for registering and identifying with the mission of APC to rescue Nigerians from the hands of evil and undemocratic elements in PDP.
Dr. Ikanya concluded by urging those yet to register with APC to troop out and do so before the registration exercise ends on Wednesday as that will make them co-founders of the party, promising that the party would never let them down.
APC’s registration exercise differs from that of PDP that does its registration in the rooms of the bigwigs of the party to the detriment of majority of Nigerians.
