Nike Oshinowo Finally Unveils Her Twins Pix
Former Nigerian beauty queen and modey — Nike Oshinowo had her long awaited babies a year ago in the United States last year via surrogacy.
The proud mum of the twin boy and girl, for the first time shared photos of her bundles of joy on the cover of ‘Hello’ Magazine.
Speaking about her having kids at 48, Nike tells Hello Magazine: -
“I think one thing you should know with me is that I’ll tell you the truth. If you dare to ask a question, I will answer. The answer might freak you out, but I will answer you as honestly as I can. It can happen to anyone, I’m not special. I’m very close to my creator, and to be close to your creator, you don’t have to go to church or to any special pastor, you just form a one on one relationship with your God.
I was out of my marriage, and I was lying in bed, talking to my God “Okay, so, here I am, is this what you want for me? Please tell me the next step. What am I supposed to do now?” and I fell asleep. As I slept, I felt a tug on the bedding and I open my eyes…
I’m saying you have a choice to choose. I chose to have my children look like the rest of my family. I chose to have my children look like my cousins, the children of my sister, the children of my brother – all the same colour. I did what I needed to do to make that happen. My children bear Oshinowo. It’s a very good surname to have!’
She also spoke about her ex husband…
“The attraction to Dr. Tunde Soleye was his mind. He had and still has amazing mind. I can’t really explain it, but I’m not a highly s*xual person and I’ve never been able to be. If you are not, you have to be able to be attracted by other things and he has a phenomenal mind.
Don’t forget I wasn’t 18 or 20 or even twenty-five at the time. I was forty! But I have to say I was very much in love. Was I…guided? More by my heart than my head. Isn’t that nice to be sometimes? Am I embarrassed by that? No. Do I regret it? I don’t. I’m very grateful to have experienced it. It doesn’t happen that often. Would I do it again? Probably not in such a hurry. It took 7 years for me to agree to date him. When I say I wouldn’t do it again in a hurry, I meant I wouldn’t rush into another marriage in a hurry because all the love in the world is still not enough to sustain a marriage. There are other key components.”

‘I will sell them,’ Boko Haram leader, Shekau says of kidnapped Nigerian girls
Fears for the fate of more than 200 Nigerian girls turned even more
nightmarish Monday when the leader of the Islamist group that kidnapped
them announced plans to sell them.
“I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah,” a man claiming to be Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said in a video first obtained by Agence France-Presse.
“There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell. I will sell women. I sell women,” he continued, according to a CNN translation from the local Hausa language.
Boko Haram means “Western education is sin.” In his nearly hourlong, rambling video, Shekau repeatedly called for Western education to end.
“Girls, you should go and get married,” he said.
The outrageous threat means the girls’ parents worst fears could be realized. Parents have been avoiding speaking to the media for fear their daughters may be singled out for reprisals.
“Wherever these girls are, we’ll get them out,” Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan vowed Sunday.
But weeks after the girls were kidnapped April 14, Africa’s largest country seems to be no closer to finding them, triggering complaints of ineptitude — some of which is expressed on Twitter with the globally trending hashtag #BringBackOurGirls.
On Sunday, about 100 demonstrators gathered outside the Nigerian High Commission in London, chanting, “Bring them back!” and “Not for sale!”
Crowds from Los Angeles to London rallied on Saturday as well.
“Access to education is a basic right & an unconscionable reason to target innocent girls,” former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton wrote Sunday on Twitter. “We must stand up to terrorism. #BringBackOurGirls.”
Families had sent their girls to the rural school in Chibok to try to get them a desperately needed education. Though Nigeria has Africa’s largest economy, poverty remains widespread: Nearly 62% of the country’s nearly 170 million people live in extreme poverty, according to the CIA World Factbook.
According to accounts, armed members of Boko Haram overwhelmed security guards at school last month, pulled the girls out of bed and forced them into trucks. The convoy of trucks then disappeared into the dense forest bordering Cameroon.
On Friday, Nigerian authorities updated the number of girls kidnapped to 276. At least 53 of the girls escaped, leaving 223 in the hands of their captors, police said.
Authorities said the number of missing girls could grow as police fill in spotty school enrollment records.

Instagram suspend Rihanna’s Account
Rihanna’s Instagram account at this very moment, is no longer
available. Matter of fact, Rih is actually trending right now on Twitter
with fans asking why Instagram would go as far as deleting her account.
It can be recalled that Rihanna’s racy photos for French magazine Lui, caused quite a stir on the social media network, causing them to issue her a warning to take down the lewd photos.
Even though Rih actually pulled the nude pictures down, Instagram still went ahead to suspend her account today.

WOw! D’banj fix nail extensions for his Thisday Style cover shoot?
D’banj covered Yesterday’s Thisday Style magazine and there’s one strange thing on the pop star’s cover photo – it appears he’s wearing fingernail extensions (possibly the acrylic type). The interview which carries the headline ‘Trailblazing D’banj, The Music Maestro‘, sees the former G.O.OD Music act discuss his ‘Oliver twist‘ single, working with Kanye West and his current relationship status. D’banj says he’s single. The photo shoot was done by popular photographer Reze Bonna. He was styled by Mai Atafo Inspired and Okunoren. So do you think it’s okay for men to wear nail extensions too?
