Borno State governor Kashim Shettima was in tears yesterday as he
appealed to indigenes of the state to embark on a 3-day fast for the
missing Chibok girls. The proposed fasting, which will run from May12th –
14th, is to seek the face of God over the missing girls and for peace
to return to the state.
The Governor got very emotional while in a meeting with the Kibaku
Area Development Association (KADA), Chibok, who came to protest the
abduction of the missing girls.
“We are calling on all Muslims and Christians to embark on a
three-day fast to seek God’s help toward rescuing our girls. All of us
must fast because we worship the same God. There is no politics or
religious issues in this matter because the abduction of the girls is
something that should bother us all as parents, uncles and guardians” he
said
The governor also expressed shock that some individuals believe the
kidnap never happened, and is all a scam “It is unthinkable for anyone
to say such a story could be fabricated.” He said

Cristiano Ronaldo’s workout and diet secrets reveal why he’s the best
Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest
footballers who ever stepped on the pitch, thanks to his disciplined
diet and workout regimen. Ronaldo, who won the 2014 Ballon d’Or earlier
this year, has natural athleticism, but works hard to maintain his elite
level of play.
Anatomy of a Superstar
“Physically, Cristiano is the perfect specimen,” Manchester United’s former conditioning coach Mike Clegg, told the BBC. “From his height to his natural body type, muscular structure, how much fat he’s got in his system, his endurance capacity, flexibility, power and strength. They are in perfect balance.”
Ronaldo rarely eats junk food and isn’t a big drinker. During the soccer season, his workout routine includes lots of running and weight training as well as practice matches with Real Madrid.
Cristiano typically works out five days a week, doing cardio circuits and exercising his legs, arms, core. “His training emphasizes explosion, endurance, speed, strength and functional movement alongside his many hours of footwork and team practices,” said Clegg.
High-Protein Diet Featuring Lots of Fish
Cristiano also follows a healthy diet of fish, meat, chicken, vegetables and fruit during the season. Cristiano has previously said his favorite meal is bacalhau à braz (cod with scrambled eggs and fried potatoes), a traditional Portuguese dish.
When he eats out in restaurants with pals, Ronaldo has said his favorite dish is a medium-rare steak, side salad and a few french fries. “Cristiano Ronaldo eats all sort of dishes as a responsible athlete, but the one he likes the most is fish, such as gilt-head bream, swordfish and sea bass,” said Clegg.
Ronaldo, who has been playing soccer since age three, is a study in extreme physical fitness. At 6-foot-1 and 176 pounds, the Portuguese international forward is one of the leanest, fastest and fittest athletes to grace the world stage.
‘My Ambition Is Huge’
During his six years at Manchester United, Ronaldo won three Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, an FA Cup and the FIFA World Club Cup, as well as the FIFA Player of the Year title.
In 2009, Cristiano made international headlines when United agreed to sell him to Real Madrid for a stunning $131 million transfer fee, making him the most expensive player in European football history.
Despite his success, Cristiano, who earns $105 million a year (not including endorsements) still has a burning ambition to constantly improve his game and has no intention of resting on his laurels. “I want to get better and better,” he said. “My ambition is huge.”
His relentless drive is what separates Ronaldo from the pack. “Ronaldo improves every day,” said Clegg. “Look at his numbers three years ago and you think, ‘It’s impossible he can do better,’ and then you look at him this year and he’s done better again. He’s always improving and because of that, he is the best.”

I Don’t Need Vibrators When There Are Able Men Out There – Chika Agatha Oguine
Chika Agatha Oguine who started acting in 2012 in a new interview
with Vanguard spoke about ‘cumming’ during sex and how she chases men
away by giving them bills upon bills because that is the only way one
can chase Nigerian men away. She also spoke about not needing a vibrator
when their are male friends she can do it with when the feeling arises.
Find her interview below..
How do you deal with your male admirers?
You all know how I handle them. Since they are in love, there are always bills there to pay so they would have to run away.
It’s not like I tell them to pay my bills though, but I have seen that in Nigeria, the only way you can actually chase a man out of your life is to tell him, ‘I need this, I need that
Do you believe in vibrators?
Why do I have to get a vibrator when there are so many able men out there? It could be helpful for some people who do not have relationships but seriously, Nigerian guys are very able bodied men.
Personally, I don’t believe that. If you want to have a good sex, you should have one of your friends that you have feelings for, even if you guys are not really dating. Believe it or not, some men don’t like to be committed to a woman and don’t believe in dating.
Instead of jumping around from one place to the other with loads of people you don’t really know, it’s safer to do it with someone you know, someone close to you, someone you can actually give yourself to. Not for payment of any kind or for exchange of money.
What would make you climax during sex?
For me, it’s really something out of the physical. It’s more of psychological than sex itself because I could have sex and not come but what makes me come is who the person is, what feelings I have for the person. That is why I can never have sex with someone I don’t have feelings for because I might not come.

Boko Haram Bombs Bridge Linking Nigeria To Cameroon
The bombing and destruction of a small bridge linking Nigeria to
Cameroon in Borno State today has caused mass destruction and confusion.
The bombing occurred on the outskirts of Gamboru Ngala, site of a
Monday Boko Haram attack that claimed the lives of over 300 village
residents.
At least 30 people were killed during the late Thursday afternoon bombing incident, sources tell SaharaReporters. The bridge links the immigration check points of both Cameroon and Nigeria.
The bombing event took place on the same day of a mass burial in the town of Gamboru Ngala. It was there on Monday where a Boko Haram-led raid on the small village claimed the lives of over 300 residents, nearly ten per cent of the population.
Sources tell SaharaReporters that 315 people of the 336 who died in the Monday attack were buried in a solemn ceremony led by civic and religious leaders.
The Boko Haram has not claimed responsibility for this latest bombing attack, but residents of Gamboru Ngala told us that there is deep suspicion that the Islamist group is behind this latest attack in this vulnerable area.
Since the Monday attacks many of the local Gamboru Ngala youth have joined an anti-Islamist vigilante force in the smoldering village. It was created and scores of young people are helping Nigerian military forces in the area.

General Muhammadu Buhari Speaks On Abducted Chibok Girls
Over the past few weeks, the abduction of the school girls at Chibok,
Borno State has underscored the threat we have been facing as a nation
in recent times from the actions of misguided persons masquerading as
adherents of Islam.
Our hearts are with families who have lost loved ones in this cycle of senseless violence. We also empathize with the parents of children whose daughters are in the custody of a group of anarchists.
That horrific video posted on the Internet is a clear manifestation of the mindlessness of the bigots. It shows them for whom they are, such men cannot threaten nor should they be allowed to violate our sovereignty. It is clear from what they profess that they are not followers of God. They do not mean well for our country and her citizens. I am a Muslim, I am versed in the teaching of Christianity and I understand both religions to seek peaceful co-existence of all humanity.
I wish to reiterate that there is no justification whatsoever for this unrestrained disregard for the sanctity of human life. It has no place in the Holy Quran and neither does it have a place in the Holy Bible.
Let these people know that the entire civilized world is united against their terrorist act. We are grateful to the world for standing by Nigeria at this trying time. We hope and pray that the young ladies will be reunited with their respective families in the days to come
While the Federal Government and the nation’s Armed Forces are working to ensure citizens’ safety under the present situation, we believe that more could still be done to ensure the safety of Nigerians and the Nigerian nation. We are therefore glad that the Federal Government has accepted international support in the search for the missing girls and for an end to the insurgency in parts of the country.
I fought for a united Nigeria. In my old age, I want my grand children, your grand children, our youths and indeed all Nigerians to benefit from a prosperous and united country devoid of sectarian violence whether home grown or imposed on us from outside.
Now is not the time to play politics. Now is also not the time to trade blames and amplify our ideological differences. The unity of Nigeria is not negotiable and nothing should divide us as a people. I therefore urge all Nigerians at home and in the Diaspora to support the country in her effort to bring an end to this attack on defencelesscitizens and indeed a united nation.
We must put aside all other considerations and ensure that our country Nigeria pulls together now so as to recover our sovereignty. After all, we all know that Nigeria is the ONLY country we have that we can call our own.
God help and bless Nigeria.
Thank you.
