O.A.U Students Protest Hike In tuition fee

Students of the Obafemi Awolowo University  (OAU) have blocked the Ife-Akure highway to protest against the recent fee hikes university authorities recently implemented.
Passengers on the federal highway were stranded as the students also blocked all exit and entry routes linking Osun State to other states in the country.
The university reportedly increased the fee of newly admitted students into Clinical Sciences and Pharmacy by 267 %, Humanities/Social Sciences by 322%, and increased the fee by 253% for students admitted into Sciences.
The protesters expressed that they have negotiated with the school management to reduce the fee but they have refused to grant these requests.
We are trying our possible best to avoid confrontation, but since consultation and consolidation have failed, the whole Nigeria must hear us again as we did about three years ago. We want peace but we are not scared of crisis. We will not allow the legacy of our founding fathers to die,” said one of the protesters.

Recently: Bomb Blast went off in Jos,Plateau State

Two bombs just went off in Jos now..Around Ahmadu Bello Way,Terminus Market (Central area of Jos).It's a densely populated area and the commercial hub of the city...My family friend who i stay with during my Camping in Jos just confirmed it .The second blast went off ,killing those who rushed to the scene of the first bomb, people are running, cars smashing into each other ,and bodies flying...and the whole roads are blocked as some abandoned their cars and ran.. Many have lost their lives but the number of casualties not yet confirmed.
