World Cup: Ronaldo suffering from tendonitis, Portugal confirm

Portugal have confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering with tendonitis in the patella tendon of his left leg, although he is back in training.

The Portuguese Football Federation have released a statement that confirms the issue with the Real Madrid forward’s knee, having previously only said Ronaldo was troubled by a thigh muscle injury.
The federation said Ronaldo has “a muscle injury on the back of his left thigh as well as left-leg patellar tendonitis.”

Ronaldo did however begin training on Tuesday, working with one of the Portugal coaches, Antonio Gaspar, including doing some ball work.

Madrid are said to be concerned with Ronaldo’s fitness and are worried he could aggravate his injuries during the World Cup.

Ronaldo was struggling towards the end of the League season as well and was forced out of the team near the end of the campaign due to a muscle injury.

Sexual Harassment Is Rampant In Nollywood

Many big actresses who have made it already are claiming that there are no cases of séxual harassment in movie industry, at least to cover themselves so people wont say they also did it, but some young ones who are not so desperate are trying to expose the mess and probably stop it.
One of such actress is Banke Adewunmi. She said séxual harassment is very real in Nollywood:
“There’s sexual harassment in the Industry. It’s not easy making it without being séxually harassed. Some people think its like trade by barter. It’s real. There should be a level playing ground for all without attaching any dirty conditions. People should be allowed to showcase their God-given talents without any hindrance.”
IMO: Its so pathetic because its not making it easy or even possible for us to spot the real talents in the entertainment industry.
The so called Producers and Marketers will rather give the role to whoever is ready to be their bedmate……..
This really has to stop and its not a battle of just these innocent and talented actors, we have to join them in fishing out all those bad apples denying us a Julia Roberts like or another Genevieve, Omotola, Kate Henshaw and co.

Breaking: Jonathan nominates Shekarau, three others as ministers

The senate announced the nominees during its plenary session on Wednesday.
The Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, has appointed four new ministers and sent their names to the Senate for confirmation.
One of the new appointees is Ibrahim Shekarau, former governor of Kano State who recently left the opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, to join the ruling People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
The other nominees are Abdul Bulama from Yobe State, Adedayo Adeyeye from Ekiti State, and Stephen Oruh from Delta State. Mr. Oruh is the National Vice Chairman, South South, of the Peoples Democratic Party.
The Senate announced the nominees during its plenary session on Wednesday. They are to be screened at a later date.

Singer Kefee Said to Suffers Brain Damage

‘Kokoroko’ crooner Kefee is still in Coma since the day she collapsed mid air last week and reports making the rounds that she is pregnant is wrong..she is not. Her condition has not improved and i made further inquiries today because a few men of God have asked me of the situation…..she has not woken up from the deep come and is still being kept going with a life support machine. I don’t know anything else and ask her publicist on bended knees at this point to please release a press statement briefing us of the situation,They should stop trying to carpet the situation.she is a public figure in Nigeria and well loved and people are worried and have been bombarding me with calls,BBM messages and whatsapp…please those who love her are worried and have been crying and calling me,i am totally devastated by this as well because Kefee is my ‘Sister’… Her fans needs to know the condition of the superstar officially. Please i ask everyone who can pray to say a word of prayer for Kefee to wake up from this coma without the complications already associated with it…I pray God gives her aged parents the strength to hold on…..America is so far away and their child is out of reach to them,Lord please give them strength.
